Hot Lunch Needs Your Help!
Hot lunch is a valued service, but your help is needed. The next hot lunch cycle starts in 2 weeks and there are currently only 2 volunteers.

PINK SHIRT DAY
On Wednesday, February 27, a sea of pink came into the school as NHS students and staff recognized Pink Shirt Day.
An assembly to bring awareness to anti-bullying was held in the afternoon.
At the Assembly, Ms. Kooger’s Grade 2 shared recipe: how to make kindness pie!
As well, grade 3 students Ben and Krushna recited a Kindness poem.
To wrap up the assembly, Ms. Graham led the school in a chorus of Count on Me.
Congratulations to the NHS Boys Nighthawks as they captured silver in a seven team tournament at FR Haythorne over the weekend.
The final game was an exciting one as the Nighthawks faced a strong Ravens team from Rudolph Hennig School (Ft. Saskatchewan). While having a lead for much of the game, the Nighthawks eventually fell 41-47 to the Ravens.
The team played with spirit, grit, and above all, sportsmanship. We are proud of you, Nighthawks. Well done!
NHS Boys Nighthawks are in the gold medal game at the FR Haythorne Basketball Tournament. They play Rudolph Henning at 6:00 p.m. (Bev Facey High School). The tournament is running on schedule.
